Ankara: UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer will visit the Turkish capital, Ankara, on Monday following an invitation from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Trkiye's communications director announced on Sunday.

According to Anadolu Agency, the discussions between the leaders will focus on the strategic bilateral ties that are anchored in a close alliance. Burhanettin Duran, writing on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal, emphasized that the meeting will also cover current regional and global developments.
