Israel’s Actions in West Bank and Gaza Indicate No Peace Intent: Trkiye’s Communications Director

Ankara: Israel's plan to annex the occupied West Bank and its recent military actions in Gaza demonstrate that Tel Aviv lacks an agenda for peace, Trkiye's communications director expressed on Tuesday. Burhanetin Duran, addressing the matter on Turkish social media platform NSosyal, emphasized that Israel's actions reveal its intention to perpetuate occupation and violence.

According to Anadolu Agency, Duran urged the international community to take a stand against what he described as Israel's genocidal policies. He reaffirmed Trkiye's commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause and resisting oppression, positioning the nation as an advocate for justice and humanity.

The Israeli military commenced a series of air and artillery strikes across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday. This directive came from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to execute "forceful" actions in response to alleged ceasefire violations by Hamas. The ceasefire, established on October 10 under a plan by US President Donald Trump, involves the exchange of prisoners and reconstruction efforts in Gaza.

Additionally, Israel's parliament recently advanced a bill to extend Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank, a decision that has faced condemnation from the United States.
