Istanbul: The World Halal Summit and Halal Expo, scheduled for next month in Istanbul, aim to establish new connections to enhance trade and commercial diplomacy. The event, organized under the Turkish Presidency and partnered with the Islamic Cooperation Organization, will take place at the Istanbul Fair Center from November 26 to 29.
According to Anadolu Agency, the summit will host business-to-business (B2B) meetings, providing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with opportunities to access global markets. These sessions will allow manufacturers to showcase their products and widen their export networks, promoting exports and accelerating branding efforts.
Country business forums are expected to play a significant role in attracting direct foreign investment. International investors will have the chance to explore the investment potential of various countries through presentations and success stories. This environment will enhance perceptions of countries as viable investment options, contributing to employment, technology transfer, and production capacity.
The event will encourage collaborations extending beyond commercial relations, with joint projects in health, tourism, energy, digital transformation, agriculture, and construction. These initiatives aim to boost innovation and competitive capacity among participating nations.
The summit will also feature the Oman Business Forum, Yemen Business Forum, Tunisia Business Forum, and Palestine Business Forum, with high-level participation from the respective countries. These platforms are expected to significantly impact the economic growth, foreign trade, and investment ecosystems of the nations involved.
Business forums are anticipated to increase mutual trade volume while supporting the exchange of technology, services, information, and investment. By bringing together business representatives, investors, and public institutions, the event aims to foster new business collaborations and long-term partnerships.
