Ankara: Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Tufan Erhurman is set to embark on his first official trip abroad since taking office last month, with a visit to Trkiye scheduled for this Thursday. The announcement was made by Trkiye's communications director, highlighting the significance of this diplomatic engagement.

According to Anadolu Agency, Burhanettin Duran, the communications director, shared the news on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal on Monday. He stated, "President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Tufan Erhurman will make his first official overseas visit to our country on Nov. 13, 2025, at the invitation of our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan."

During his visit to Trkiye, President Erhurman will engage in discussions focusing on recent developments concerning the Cyprus issue. The meetings will also address various aspects of Trkiye-TRNC relations, marking an important step in the diplomatic ties between the two nations.
