Istanbul: The Turkish benchmark stock index concluded Tuesday at 11,123.47 points, marking a slight increase of 0.06% from the previous day's close.
According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 index started the day at 11,151.76 and showed a modest gain of 7.02 points from Monday's close. Throughout the trading day, the index fluctuated between a low of 11,093.23 and a high of 11,184.10.
A total of 52 indexes saw an increase in value, whereas 46 experienced losses by the end of the day. The total transaction volume reached 148.5 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to $3.5 billion, with the overall value of the index standing at 10.5 trillion liras, or $247.7 billion.
By 6.20 pm local time (1520GMT), the USD/TRY exchange rate was recorded at 42.4450, the EUR/TRY rate at 49.2920, and the GBP/TRY at 56.0595. Additionally, the price of gold was noted at $4,197.80 per ounce, and Brent oil was priced at $62.75 per barrel.
