Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, BIST 100, concluded Thursday with an increase of 0.36%, closing at 11,233.66 points. The index had started the day at 11,226.65 points and managed to gain 39.78 points from the previous day's close.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 index experienced fluctuations throughout the day, hitting a low of 10,934.18 points and reaching a high of 11,032.53 points. The total market value of the index was approximately 10.54 trillion Turkish liras, equivalent to $247.9 billion, with a trading volume of 134 billion liras, or $3.15 billion.

A total of 54 stocks saw an increase in value, while 41 stocks experienced a decline compared to the prior close. In the commodities market, gold was valued at $4,262.98 per ounce, and Brent crude oil was priced at $60.85 per barrel as of 7.45 pm local time (1645GMT).

The foreign exchange market saw the US dollar trading at 42.6030 Turkish liras, the euro at 50.1795 liras, and the British pound at 57.3520 liras.
