Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, the BIST 100, opened the last trading day of the week at 11,269.51 points, marking a rise of 0.32%, or 35.85 points, from the previous close.

According to Anadolu Agency, on Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 had gained 0.36% to close at 11,233.66 points. The daily transaction volume was reported at 134 billion liras, equivalent to $3.15 billion.

As of 9.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates were recorded at 42.6855 liras to the US dollar, 50.1295 to the euro, and 57.2040 to the British pound. The price of an ounce of gold was $4,282.60, while Brent crude oil was trading at $61.45 per barrel.
