Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, BIST 100, concluded Monday's trading session at 11,456.34 points, marking an increase of 1.28% from the previous close. Starting the week at 11,349.23 points, the index showed a notable rise, gaining 145.03 points since Friday's session.

According to Anadolu Agency, the BIST 100 index experienced fluctuations with its lowest point at 11,328.64 and a peak at 11,468.77 during the day. The trading session saw 69 stocks advancing and 28 stocks declining compared to the previous close. The total market capitalization of the BIST 100 stood at approximately 10.73 trillion Turkish liras, equivalent to $252.4 billion, with a daily trading volume of 127.4 billion Turkish liras, or $2.98 billion.

In related financial updates, the price of an ounce of gold was $4,321.60, and Brent crude oil was priced at approximately $60.55 per barrel as of 6.20 pm local time (1520GMT). Meanwhile, the exchange rates were reported as 42.6965 for the US dollar/Turkish lira, 50.2695 for the euro/Turkish lira, and 57.2045 Turkish liras for the British pound.
