Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, the BIST 100, opened Wednesday at 11,338.73, showing a slight decline of 0.09% or 10.1 points.

According to Anadolu Agency, the previous day saw the BIST 100 decrease by 0.94%, closing at 11,348.83 points, and recording a daily transaction volume of 122.5 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to $2.86 billion.

As of 10 am local time (0700GMT), exchange rates were noted at 42.3565 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 49.1110 to the euro, and 55.7150 to the British pound.

The commodities market showed the price of an ounce of gold at $4,091.95, while Brent crude oil was trading at $59.60 per barrel.
