Gaza city: Eleven Palestinians were injured as the Israeli army shelled several areas in the Gaza Strip, despite a ceasefire agreement that has been in place since October 10, medical sources reported. The injuries were sustained when an artillery shell landed near a gathering of civilians in the Al-Samer area of Gaza City.

According to Anadolu Agency, the targeted site is one of the areas from which the Israeli army withdrew under the first phase of the ceasefire agreement. An Israeli security source claimed that the artillery shells veered off course and struck Gaza City. Witness accounts indicated that Israeli artillery also targeted southeastern Khan Younis and the vicinity of the Morag corridor, north of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

In central Gaza, Israeli military vehicles and bulldozers advanced into the northeast of Deir al-Balah city, conducting bulldozing operations amid heavy gunfire. Additionally, Israeli artillery shelled the eastern parts of the Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza City.

Palestinians have accused Israel of repeatedly violating the Gaza ceasefire agreement. Since the ceasefire took effect, at least 393 people have been killed and 1,074 others injured in Israeli attacks, according to the Health Ministry. Israel's military actions have resulted in nearly 70,700 deaths, mostly women and children, and more than 171,000 injuries in Gaza since October 2023, leaving the enclave in ruins.
