Ankara: Trkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with Tom Fletcher, the UN's humanitarian chief, in Ankara, as reported by the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

According to Anadolu Agency, the meeting was announced on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal. Fletcher described the encounter on the US social media platform X, highlighting the significance of Trkiye's role as a mediator in the region and beyond. In his message, Fletcher also mentioned that they discussed plans aiming to save 87 million lives by 2026.
