Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 11,352.46, registering a decrease of 0.14% or 17.43 points.

According to Anadolu Agency, on Wednesday, the BIST 100 had decreased by 0.13%, closing at 12,369.89 points. The daily transaction volume for the day was recorded at 179.2 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to $4.15 billion.

As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT) on Thursday, the exchange rates were 43.1895 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 50.3705 to the euro, and 58.1275 to the British pound. The price of an ounce of gold stood at $4,608.70, while Brent crude oil was trading at $64.25 per barrel.
