Bandon: A magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck Friday off the coast of the American western state of Oregon, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS). The earthquake occurred at a shallow depth of 4.4 miles (7.1 kilometers), with the epicenter located 186 miles west of the city of Bandon.

According to Anadolu Agency, there was no tsunami warning issued following the earthquake, and there were no reports of damage or injuries on land.
