Ukrainian and Danish Defense Ministers Discuss Cooperation on F-16 and Patriot Systems

Kyiv: Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced an online meeting with Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen, focusing on enhancing cooperation in defense production, specifically related to F-16 ammunition and Patriot air defense systems.

According to Anadolu Agency, Fedorov shared details of the discussion on the US social media platform X. The meeting addressed the strengthening of cooperation on F-16 ammunition, Patriot systems, joint defense production, and support for Ukrainian brigades. Fedorov expressed gratitude towards Denmark, highlighting it as a reliable partner delivering substantial support for Ukraine's defense initiatives.

In addition to discussions with Denmark, Fedorov also engaged in talks with Canadian Defense Minister David McGuinty via video link. The dialogue with Canada focused on joint drone production and military training. Fedorov noted Canada's contribution to Ukraine's air defense through the transfer of AIM missiles, which are aimed at countering cruise missile threats. The delivery of these missiles is already underway.

Denmark and Canada have consistently supported Ukraine since the onset of the conflict, providing military aid, training programs, and backing efforts to enhance Ukraine's defense industry and battlefield readiness over the long term.
