Beijing: China announced that it is in communication with the United States regarding President Donald Trump's anticipated visit to the country. This statement was made on Tuesday by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning during a news conference in Beijing.

According to Anadolu Agency, Mao Ning emphasized the importance of head-of-state diplomacy, stating that such interactions play a crucial role in providing strategic guidance for China-US relations. While Mao confirmed the ongoing communication between Beijing and Washington regarding President Trump's visit, she declined to provide further details about the trip's specifics.

The White House previously confirmed that Trump is scheduled to visit China for a three-day trip starting on March 31. Although additional details from the US side are not yet available, the visit is expected to focus significantly on trade discussions between President Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
