Riyadh: Saudi Arabia's national carrier, Saudia, announced it will partially resume flights to and from Dubai beginning March 7, restoring limited air services between the two countries after disruptions in the region. In a statement posted on US social media company X, the airline detailed that the initial schedule will include two outbound flights to Dubai and two return services.

According to Anadolu Agency, the flights will operate on a limited schedule initially, with additional services expected to be restored progressively depending on developments in the region. Passengers can book flights through the airline's official website and mobile application.

In a related development, Kuwait Airways has started operating flights from several regional capitals to Saudi Arabia to facilitate the return of Kuwaiti nationals via land routes to Kuwait. The airline specified that flights will depart from Barcelona, Paris, Milan, Munich, and Bangkok, with passengers required to obtain a Saudi transit visa.

Air travel across parts of the Middle East has faced disruptions in recent days following US and Israeli attacks against Iran and retaliatory strikes by Tehran. These events have prompted temporary airspace closures and flight suspensions in several countries.
