Doha: Qatar's air defenses successfully intercepted five Iranian ballistic missiles aimed at its territory, as confirmed by the Defense Ministry. The ministry's statement assured that there were no casualties resulting from the missile attack.
According to Anadolu Agency, local media, including Alaraby TV, reported that the sounds of explosions from the missile interceptions were audible over Doha. This incident is part of a broader regional escalation that began on February 28, when Israel and the United States conducted a joint military operation against Iran, resulting in significant casualties and injuries.
The situation has intensified with Tehran's retaliatory strikes, deploying drones and missiles against Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf nations that host US military facilities. Additionally, Israel has amplified its military activities targeting Hezbollah in Lebanon.
