Tehran: Some 21,720 buildings in Iran have been hit by ongoing US-Israeli strikes since February 28, including 4,122 commercial establishments and 17,353 homes, along with health centers, schools, and humanitarian infrastructure, as reported by the Iranian Red Crescent on Wednesday.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Iranian government’s Telegram channel noted that the Iranian Red Crescent revealed over 56,000 people reached out to its hotline seeking psychological support during this period.

Regional tensions have escalated following the US and Israel’s joint military actions on Iran commencing February 28, resulting in the deaths of over 1,200 individuals, including the then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and over 150 schoolgirls.

In response, Tehran has conducted drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries that host US military assets.
