Drones Strike Fuel Tanks at Salalah Port, Omani Officials Respond


Salalah: Several drones were shot down on Wednesday, while others struck fuel tanks at Oman’s Salalah port, the Omani media reported, citing a security source. Omani officials are working to monitor and counter the attacks, the Oman News Agency reported, citing a source who added that no casualties have been reported in the attack on Salalah port.



According to Anadolu Agency, tensions gripped the Middle East after Israel and the US launched joint attacks on Iran on Feb. 28, resulting in more than 1,200 deaths, including Ali Khamenei, the country’s former supreme leader, and more than 150 schoolgirls. Tehran retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and several Gulf countries hosting US military assets.
