Israel Army Detects Missile Launches from Iran, Defense Systems on Alert

Jerusalem: The Israeli military announced on Sunday that its forces have detected new missile launches originating from Iran. The defense systems are actively working to intercept these projectiles as they pose a potential threat to the State of Israel.

According to Anadolu Agency, the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) reported that missiles were launched towards Israeli territory. The military has activated its defense systems to intercept and neutralize the threat. In a statement released on the US social media platform X, the Israeli military urged citizens to adhere to safety guidelines, directing them to enter protected spaces upon receiving alerts and to remain there until further notice.

This development comes amid increased regional tensions following a joint attack by Israel and the United States against Iran on February 28. The attack has resulted in approximately 1,300 fatalities and over 10,000 injuries, as reported by Iranian authorities. In response, Tehran launched retaliatory drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries that host US military assets.
