Hebron: Illegal Israeli settlers on Wednesday evening attacked Palestinian shepherds in the "Masafer Yatta" area of "Hebron" in the southern West Bank, injuring four Palestinians and kidnapping three more.
According to Anadolu Agency, activist Osama Makhmara stated that illegal settlers targeted shepherds in the Wadi Abu Shaban area, resulting in several individuals sustaining bruises and injuries. The attack left four Palestinians injured; while two received treatment on the scene, the Israeli army detained a third injured person before he could be treated, and the fourth was transferred to a hospital for further care.
Further details from the incident reveal that armed illegal settlers, dressed in military gear, arrived at the site and used live ammunition and stun grenades during the assault. They subsequently abducted three Palestinians, whose whereabouts remain unknown.
Since the start of the conflict in the Gaza Strip on October 8, 2023, attacks by the Israeli army and illegal settlers in the West Bank have resulted in the deaths of 1,132 Palestinians, with approximately 11,700 others injured, and around 22,000 arrests. These attacks have extended beyond killings and arrests to include the targeting of homes and facilities, leading to the displacement of Palestinians and the expansion of settlements throughout the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, which the international community regards as occupied territory.
