Beirut: Hezbollah announced on Friday that it has conducted nine attacks targeting Israeli settlements, military sites, and a gathering of Israeli soldiers. These attacks, which utilized rockets and loitering drones, were aimed at six locations in Israel and involved operations in southern Lebanon.

According to Anadolu Agency, Hezbollah detailed its actions in a series of statements, specifying that rocket barrages were launched at various intervals from dawn until midday Friday. The six targeted settlements included Shlomi, Yiftah, Shomera, Kiryat Shmona, Ramot Naftali, and Hanita. In addition to these, the group reported carrying out two aerial attacks using 'swarms of loitering drones' against the Ya'ara and Matat military barracks in northern Israel.

Hezbollah further claimed responsibility for targeting Israeli soldiers with rockets in the town of Khiam, located in southern Lebanon. This series of attacks marks a continuation of hostilities following the joint operations by Israel and the US against Iran on February 28, which resulted in significant casualties, including the death of former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The ongoing conflict has seen Iran retaliate with drone and missile strikes against Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets. Since March 2, the fighting has intensified in Lebanon, with regular exchanges of fire between the Israeli army and Hezbollah.
