Kuwait city: In a phone call, Kuwait's Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio discussed the ongoing escalation and hostilities in the Middle East. The conversation focused on the conflict's impacts on security and stability on both regional and international levels, as announced by Kuwait's Foreign Ministry on the US social media platform X.

According to Anadolu Agency, since the joint attacks by Israel and the US on Iran commenced on February 28, approximately 1,300 people have been killed, including the then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. This has led to an escalation in hostilities in the region.

Iran has responded with drone and missile strikes aimed at Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries that host US military assets. These retaliatory actions have resulted in casualties and damage to infrastructure, further affecting global markets and disrupting aviation.
