Tehran: At least 636 people have been killed in Tehran since the start of the US-Israeli offensive, according to the head of Tehran's emergency services. The hostilities have resulted in significant casualties and widespread damage across the city.

According to Anadolu Agency, Mohammad Esmail Tavakkoli, the head of Tehran's emergency services, reported that another 6,846 people have sustained injuries. He further stated that 430 locations in the city have been targeted. The escalation of violence follows US and Israeli strikes on Iran that commenced on February 28.

Iran has responded to these strikes with its own series of drone and missile attacks, targeting Israel and Gulf countries that are hosting US military assets. The ongoing conflict has intensified regional tensions and caused severe humanitarian concerns.
