Deir al-balah: The Israeli army killed one Palestinian and injured eight others in a strike targeting land adjacent to a camp sheltering displaced people in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza. Palestinian sources described this as a new violation of the ceasefire.

According to Anadolu Agency, medical sources reported that 'one body and eight injured' were brought to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah following the Israeli strike. Eyewitnesses said that an Israeli warplane conducted a heavy strike on an empty plot next to a densely populated displacement camp. This occurred after a prior evacuation warning was issued via phone call, although no official statement has been released by the Israeli army.

The attack is part of what Palestinian authorities describe as ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza since October 10, 2025. These violations have resulted in the deaths of 689 Palestinians and injuries to 1,860 others, most of whom are women and children, according to the Health Ministry.

Earlier in the day, two Palestinians were killed in a strike by an Israeli drone west of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, as reported by medical sources. Additionally, the Palestine Red Crescent field hospital in Khan Younis in southern Gaza reported receiving five injured individuals following shelling by Israeli naval forces. This shelling targeted tents for displaced people along the city's coast, according to a statement received by Anadolu Agency.
