Kuwait city: Kuwait International Airport was targeted by multiple drone strikes, causing significant damage to its radar system, the country’s civil aviation authority said on Saturday. Abdullah Al-Rajhi, spokesperson for Kuwait’s Civil Aviation Authority, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the airport ‘was subjected to several drone attacks, but no casualties were reported.’

According to Anadolu Agency, the attack resulted in ‘major damage to the airport’s radar system,’ noting that emergency teams and relevant authorities immediately began responding to the incident. This incident is part of a larger regional conflict, where for nearly a month, the US and Israel have carried out an air offensive against Iran, resulting in the deaths of more than 1,340 people, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Iran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, as well as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets. These retaliatory strikes have caused casualties, damaged infrastructure, and disrupted global markets and aviation.
