Hezbollah Claims 1,100 Military Operations Against Israel Since March

Beirut: Lebanon's Hezbollah group announced on Sunday that it has carried out 1,100 military operations targeting Israeli positions since March 2. The declaration was made through a brief statement from its military media, emphasizing that the operations were conducted "in defense of Lebanon and its people" following the commencement of an Israeli military offensive.

According to Anadolu Agency, Israel has intensified its military actions against Lebanon with airstrikes and has initiated a ground offensive in southern Lebanon. This escalation followed a cross-border attack by Hezbollah on March 2, leading to significant casualties. Lebanese authorities reported that at least 1,228 individuals have lost their lives, and 3,543 have been injured due to the Israeli attacks.

The recent surge in violence is part of a broader conflict, coinciding with a joint US-Israeli offensive against Iran. Since February 28, this operation has resulted in more than 1,340 fatalities. In retaliation, Iran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting locations in Israel and US military bases situated in Gulf countries.
