London: UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper expressed her concerns Thursday over Israeli military actions in Lebanon, advocating for the extension of the current US-Iran ceasefire to include Lebanon and emphasizing the need to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

According to Anadolu Agency, Cooper, in an interview with Sky News, articulated her apprehensions about the humanitarian impact of Israel’s recent strikes on Lebanon. She highlighted the significant displacement of people as a result of these attacks and underscored the necessity of broadening the ceasefire framework to mitigate further suffering.
