Two Israeli Soldiers Injured in Southern Lebanon Clashes

Jerusalem: Two Israeli soldiers were wounded on Saturday during a clash with armed fighters in southern Lebanon, the incident highlights the ongoing tensions and military activities in the region.

According to Anadolu Agency, Israel’s Channel 13, citing the military, reported that the two soldiers from the Paratroopers Brigade sustained moderate injuries from shrapnel during the confrontation earlier in the day. This clash is part of a broader Israeli ground offensive in southern Lebanon, where five divisions are currently engaged.

Israel initiated a large-scale military offensive in Lebanon on March 2. Since then, the military has announced the deaths of 12 soldiers and injuries to dozens more. The situation remains volatile as air raid sirens sounded in towns near the Lebanese border in northern Israel following the detection of rocket and drone launches from Lebanon.
