Israeli Army Reports Projectile from Lebanon Lands in Northern Israel

Kiryat shmona: The Israeli army announced early Wednesday that a projectile launched from Lebanon landed in an open area in northern Israel, with no injuries reported. This incident prompted air raid sirens in Kiryat Shmona and surrounding communities after the launch was detected, as stated by Israel's Home Front Command. The army confirmed that it identified one projectile crossing from Lebanon before it landed in the designated area.

According to Anadolu Agency, the incident occurred a day after Israeli media reported that over 15 Hezbollah explosive drones targeted Israel in a single day, with most focusing on military zones. Channel 12 highlighted the ongoing efforts of the Israeli military to find effective countermeasures against the increasing drone threat, acknowledging that current strategies have yet to yield a lasting solution.
