Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a call on Thursday with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and addressing regional and global developments.
According to Anadolu Agency, the conversation, highlighted by the Turkish Communications Directorate on the social media platform NSosyal, involved discussions on enhancing cooperation between Trkiye and Algeria in key sectors such as trade, energy, and the defense industry. President Erdogan emphasized Trkiye's commitment to deepening ties with Algeria across various domains while also working collaboratively to foster peace and stability in the region.
During the call, President Erdogan extended his Eid al-Adha greetings to President Tebboune and the Algerian people, marking the significance of the Muslim holiday in reinforcing diplomatic goodwill.
