Nairobi: Controversial social media figures Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan, were arrested in the US on Saturday after British prosecutors filed new rape and sex-trafficking charges against them. The US Marshals Service confirmed that the brothers had been taken into custody in Miami.

According to Anadolu Agency, the UK's Crown Prosecution Service separately announced the new charges in a statement. The arrest follows a coordinated effort between American and British officials, highlighting the international implications of the charges against the Tate brothers.
