Gaza: Israeli strikes killed two Palestinians and injured dozens Friday across the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.
According to Anadolu Agency, Mahmoud Mohammed Fatayer, 33, succumbed to injuries from an Israeli strike on Abu Arif Street in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza. Mohammed Abdel Nasser al-Khatib, 38, was also killed after being targeted on Salah al-Din Street, northeast of Deir al-Balah, as reported by a medical source at the Shuhadaa Al-Aqsa Hospital.
Two Palestinians were critically injured when an Israeli drone targeted a group of civilians on Abu Arif Street. Meanwhile, 10 Palestinians sustained injuries from an Israeli airstrike on a residential building east of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, according to the Al-Awda Hospital.
Israeli warplanes reportedly destroyed a multi-story building belonging to the Al-Hawajri family after residents were warned to evacuate. Another strike demolished a home in southern Deir al-Balah, injuring several Palestinians, medical sources said.
In Khan Younis, southern Gaza, several Palestinians were injured, some critically, when an Israeli drone struck a group of civilians in the Al-Maslah area west of the city. Two others suffered moderate injuries from Israeli military vehicles opening fire near the Al-Alam and Abu Hamid roundabouts.
Four Palestinians were also injured in an Israeli strike on the Al-Saftawi neighborhood in northern Gaza City. A woman and a child were injured in a drone strike northwest of Gaza City, while quadcopter fire injured two Palestinians in Jabalia and Gaza City.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced an agreement for the disarmament of Hamas and other armed groups in Gaza, with phased withdrawal of Israeli forces as the process advances.
Despite a ceasefire effective since October 10, 2025, Israel has continued attacks, resulting in 1,209 Palestinian deaths and 3,943 injuries, mostly women and children, and widespread destruction. With US support, Israel began its operations on October 8, 2023, with significant casualties and infrastructure damage in Gaza.
