Kyrgyzstan, Russia Begin Joint Center-2026 Military Exercise

Bishkek: Russia and Kyrgyzstan on Tuesday began the joint tactical exercise Center-2026 in Kyrgyzstan, involving up to 500 military personnel from both countries.

According to Anadolu Agency, the drills include about 100 weapons and pieces of military equipment, combat first-person-view drones, and army aviation from both countries, as announced by the Kyrgyz Defense Ministry on US social media platform Facebook. The exercise is scheduled to run through August 17 as part of bilateral military cooperation.
