Idlib: Israeli warplanes carried out four airstrikes on the abandoned Abu al-Duhur military airport in the eastern countryside of Idlib province in northern Syria. Local sources reported that the attacks occurred at around 3 am local time (0000GMT).
According to Anadolu Agency, no information has been released regarding any casualties from the airstrikes. Additionally, Syrian authorities have yet to issue any official statement concerning the attack.
Following the fall of the Assad regime, Israel has expanded its military operations across Syria, frequently targeting weapons and missile depots, alongside strategic military locations. In previous operations, Israeli forces have also targeted Iranian forces and Hezbollah positions within Syria.
