Al-auja: An Israeli occupier was injured in a stabbing attack near the village of Al-Auja in the Jordan Valley, located to the east of the occupied West Bank.

According to Anadolu Agency, in a statement on the US social media company X, Israeli police mentioned that the circumstances surrounding the incident are 'under investigation.' The national ambulance service of Israel, MDA, reported that the occupier suffered moderate injuries from the attack.

In a separate statement, the Israeli army announced that a manhunt for the perpetrator is currently underway. Additionally, Israeli forces have started to impose a security cordon and closure on the Palestinian village in response to the incident.

Israel frequently experiences shooting, stabbing, or vehicle-ramming attacks as tensions remain high. This occurs as Tel Aviv continues to escalate its military operations against Palestinians in both the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

The escalation in the West Bank, including actions by the army and occupiers since the onset of the Gaza war, has resulted in the deaths of 1,182 Palestinians and injuries to more than 12,000 others. Furthermore, approximately 24,000 Palestinians have been arrested, based on figures from Palestinian officials.
