Mecca Defense Alliance Makes First Institutional Decisions, Announces Turkish Foreign Minister

Istanbul: The first institutional decisions of the Mecca Defense Alliance were formally taken at a meeting in Istanbul, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced on Monday.

According to Anadolu Agency, Fidan shared details about the meeting of the Strategic Political and Defense Committee, which is part of the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement, via a post on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal. The meeting involved key discussions and decisions among representatives from Trkiye, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia.

"Today, together with our Pakistani and Saudi brothers, we formally took the first institutional decisions of the Mecca Defense Alliance at the Strategic Political and Defense Committee meeting we held in Istanbul," stated Fidan. He expressed gratitude to all officials who contributed and conveyed hope for positive outcomes for the region.

The gathering in Istanbul saw the participation of foreign and defense ministers, as well as the chiefs of general staff from Trkiye, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia. The meeting was a crucial part of the ongoing collaboration and strategic discussions under the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement.
