Dhaka: The Bangladeshi Foreign Ministry issued a strong condemnation on Tuesday in response to the Houthi attacks that targeted various locations in Saudi Arabia. The ministry reaffirmed Bangladesh's unwavering support for Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, emphasizing its stance against violence.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Foreign Ministry's statement highlighted Bangladesh's rejection of all acts of violence against civilians and civilian infrastructures. Bangladesh expressed its full solidarity with the government and the people of Saudi Arabia, underscoring the close ties between the two nations.

The Houthi attacks resulted in multiple civilian injuries, with Saudi authorities reporting that assaults in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jizan, and Najran left at least 73 civilians injured, including women and children. Additionally, the attacks led to fires and temporary disruptions at energy facilities, causing significant concern over regional security and stability.

Bangladesh, a Muslim-majority nation with a population of 175 million, reiterated its steadfast support for Saudi Arabia's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security in light of these incidents.
