Top Chinese Diplomat and Brazil Presidential Adviser Discuss Strengthening Ties in Beijing

Beijing: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Special Advisor to the President of Brazil Celso Amorim discussed ties and strengthening cooperation in Beijing on Wednesday, according to Chinese state-run Xinhua News Agency.

According to Anadolu Agency, Wang stated that China-Brazil relations have experienced significant progress in recent years, transitioning from a comprehensive strategic partnership to what he described as "a community with a shared future." He emphasized the importance of both nations deepening cooperation and enhancing strategic coordination on key international and regional matters.

Amorim expressed Brazil's willingness to collaborate with China to introduce new dimensions to the Brazil-China community, aiming for a "more just world and a more sustainable planet." He conveyed Brazil's readiness to work closely with China to further solidify their partnership.

Amorim's visit to Beijing spanned two days, beginning on Tuesday, highlighting Brazil's commitment to strengthening bilateral ties with China.
