Istanbul:The Independent Industrialists and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) EXPO 2026 opened its doors on Wednesday in Istanbul, marking the start of a significant multisector trade fair aimed at connecting producers, brands, and international buyers from various industries.

According to Anadolu Agency, the four-day event serves as a crucial meeting point for global trade professionals, offering participants the chance to establish direct business connections in new markets. The expo is renowned for its growing number of participants, expanding sector diversity, and strong business networks, attracting investors, industrialists, entrepreneurs, and business representatives to Istanbul.

Coinciding with the expo, the 29th International Business Forum (IBF) commenced under the theme "The Transformation of Humanity and the Business World in the Age of AI." MUSIAD Chair Burhan Ozdemir highlighted that the gathering focuses on Turkey's commitment to production, its business ethics, and its global vision, emphasizing the expo's origins dating back to October 29, 1993.

Ozdemir also noted that the event has evolved into one of the most significant trade gatherings in Turkey and the broader region. Organizers of the expo aim to attract over 50,000 visitors, featuring 369 companies from 18 different sectors within an area of approximately 25,000 square meters. The primary objective is to transform this gathering into opportunities for new markets, partnerships, investments, and enduring relationships of trust.
