New York:Turkish Deputy Foreign Ministers held significant diplomatic meetings and attended various events in New York. Ambassador Berris Ekinci participated in a briefing on COP31 operations and logistics and engaged with senior officials from Malaysia and the United Nations.

According to Anadolu Agency, Ambassador Ekinci met with Dato Ahmad Faisal, the deputy secretary-general for multilateral affairs at the Malaysian Foreign Ministry, and Carl Skau, the deputy executive director of the UN World Food Programme. She also attended an event hosted by the United Arab Emirates focused on water as a strategic imperative.

Additionally, Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Levent Gumrukcu was present at the Informal Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the South-East European Cooperation Process. Both diplomats were in New York for these diplomatic engagements in connection with the 81st UN General Assembly.
