Najran:A projectile launched by Yemen's Houthi group struck a school in the southern city of Najran, Saudi Arabia, causing material damage.
According to Anadolu Agency, the Saudi Press Agency reported the incident, citing a spokesperson for the Civil Defense. Emergency teams responded promptly after the "hostile projectile" fell in the area, leading to the damage.
In response to this incident, standard procedures were executed by the authorities. Meanwhile, the Saudi-led coalition, which supports Yemen's internationally recognized government, reported intercepting and destroying three ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis toward Khamis Mushait, another southern Saudi city.
Saudi Arabia has been leading the military coalition against the Houthis since March 2015. The group has held control over Yemen's capital, Sanaa, and several other provinces since September 2014.
