Moscow:Russia is taking measures in response to Ukraine's attacks in the Black Sea, as reported by the state-run Tass news agency.
According to Anadolu Agency, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that Ukraine "must pay a price" for the maritime attacks, indicating that Ukraine is already facing consequences and will continue to face repercussions.
Peskov further explained that Moscow is persisting with its "special military operation," a term used for the ongoing conflict in Ukraine since 2022. A primary goal of this operation is to stop the maritime transport of ammunition, military supplies, and fuel to Ukrainian forces.
He highlighted that the Kyiv regime has shown no interest in comprehensive agreements, and partial agreements will not lead to a peaceful resolution. Peskov emphasized that any agreements must be comprehensive.
Additionally, Peskov noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin had stated that a truce is not needed, but peace is necessary.
