Ankara:Turkey strongly condemned Israel's resumption of activities along the so-called "Sufa 53 line" in Syria's Quneitra province, describing the move as an attempt to create new faits accomplis in the country.
According to Anadolu Agency, Turkey's Foreign Ministry issued a statement criticizing Israel for eroding the 1974 Disengagement Agreement by resuming its activities in the region. The ministry urged the international community to take effective and decisive actions to end Israel's expansionist policies, which it said escalate tensions, and to ensure Israel's withdrawal from occupied Syrian territory.
Ankara emphasized its firm commitment to supporting Syria's sovereignty, political unity, and territorial integrity. It pledged to continue collaborating with regional countries to take necessary steps in response to the situation.
