Jakarta:West Bank Israeli forces carried out 19 attacks against Palestinians across the occupied West Bank from early Friday until around noon, targeting olive farmers, trees, crops, livestock, and vehicles.
According to Anadolu Agency, these attacks occurred during the olive harvest season and included assaults on farmers and the burning and uprooting of olive trees. Specific incidents involved torching a vehicle in Tell, uprooting more than 50 olive trees in Qusra, and targeting olive pickers in Jurish, Beita, Naqoura, Birzeit, Deir Ibzi, and Far'ata.
Additional incidents reported by the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission included occupiers opening fire in Deir Ballut, injuring a farmer in Kafr ad-Dik, and an elderly Palestinian woman being injured in Birin, east of Hebron, after dogs were unleashed at farmers. In Ein Qiniya, sheep were stolen, and in Yabroud, a Palestinian man and his child were assaulted, with their vehicle also stolen. Vehicles were attacked in Sarda and Al-Rayhan as well.
Separately, Wafa news agency noted that Israeli occupiers attacked Palestinians harvesting olives near Jurish, north of Nablus, damaging the crop. Additionally, occupiers set fire to olive trees in Wadi al-Shaer, between Salfit and the village of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya.
In the Ramallah area, Israeli forces fired tear gas at olive pickers in Wadi al-Lubban and Gharaba areas east of Abwein, preventing farmers from accessing their land. Dozens of occupiers stormed an area between Sarda and Al-Rayhan, threw stones at Palestinian vehicles, and fired live ammunition, damaging a memorial at the site.
In Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, occupiers released their livestock onto Palestinian land in Khirbet Umm al-Khair, threatening grazing areas and crops.
The Palestinian olive harvest season began on September 20, with the Agriculture Ministry expecting around 21,000 tons of olive oil production this season. The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission reported over 45,000 trees cut down or damaged across the West Bank in the first half of 2026, including more than 26,000 olive trees.
Since October 2023, Israeli forces and occupiers have intensified attacks against Palestinians and their property across the occupied West Bank, with Palestinian figures reporting 1,210 people killed, 13,350 injured, and 26,000 arrested during this period.
