Riyadh:A fresh attack on King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia's capital resulted in injuries on Sunday afternoon, as reported by the country's General Authority of Civil Aviation.

According to Anadolu Agency, the aviation authority is currently assessing damage and checking the safety of airport facilities in coordination with relevant authorities. Details regarding the number of injured individuals or the severity of their injuries have not been disclosed.

Earlier, the Saudi-led coalition reported that an unidentified projectile struck Terminal 4 at the airport, igniting a fire. Authorities are actively responding to the incident.
