Saudi Arabia Lifts Emergency Warning in Eastern Province

Dammam:Saudi Arabia Saudi Arabia's Civil Defense announced on Tuesday that the danger in the country's Eastern Province had passed, just minutes after issuing an emergency warning.

According to Anadolu Agency, the authority communicated the all-clear via the national emergency early warning platform after initially alerting the public to a 'potential danger.' The warning, however, did not specify the nature of the threat or which areas it covered.

Earlier in the day, Yemen's Houthi group had threatened to target Saudi state oil company Aramco's headquarters in Dammam, the main airport in the capital Riyadh, and Aramco's Riyadh refinery. This threat was made in response to potential attacks by the Saudi-led coalition on Houthi sites in the Yemeni capital Sanaa.

In recent days, Saudi Arabia has experienced a series of attacks on airports and civilian facilities as the military confrontation with the Houthis intensifies.
