Israeli Attacks in Gaza Result in Casualties Amid Ceasefire

Gaza City:Gaza A Palestinian was killed and several others, including a woman, were injured on Tuesday during an Israeli airstrike and gunfire across the Gaza Strip. The attacks occurred as the Israeli army also demolished residential buildings, according to medical and local sources.

According to Anadolu Agency, these incidents happened despite the ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since October 10, 2025. The ongoing Israeli violations have continued more than three years after the start of what is described as Israel's genocide on Gaza.

In eastern Gaza City, a Palestinian was killed when an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle in the Al-Mashahara area of the Tuffah neighborhood. Further south, in Hamad City north of Khan Younis, a woman was injured by Israeli gunfire, along with another Palestinian near Al-Amal Hospital west of the city. Local sources reported heavy fire from Israeli military vehicles toward homes and tents sheltering displaced people in Khan Younis, causing these injuries.

In northern Gaza, a Palestinian was moderately injured by Israeli gunfire near Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia. The Israeli army also demolished homes and evacuated buildings in the same area, with witnesses reporting a powerful explosion from the demolition.

In addition, Israeli naval vessels fired machine guns and launched shells toward the Gaza City coast, though no injuries were reported from this action.

The Gaza Health Ministry reports that Israeli ceasefire violations have resulted in 1,493 Palestinian deaths and 5,299 injuries as of Monday. Since October 2023, over 74,000 Palestinians have been killed, and more than 175,000 injured, with approximately 90% of Gaza's infrastructure damaged or destroyed.
