Moscow:Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi left Moscow on Thursday for an unannounced official visit to Hungary. The Egyptian presidency confirmed the departure but did not provide details regarding the duration or agenda of the visit.

According to Anadolu Agency – English, the Egyptian presidency had not previously announced al-Sisi's planned visit to Hungary.

While in Moscow, President al-Sisi attended the third Russia-Africa Summit, which commenced on Wednesday and concluded on Thursday. During his visit, he also met with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin on Wednesday evening.
