Atlanta:Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in Atlanta, Georgia, to represent Moscow at the G20 foreign ministers' meeting. This visit marks Lavrov's participation in the international gathering hosted by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

According to Anadolu Agency – English, the Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed Lavrov's arrival in the US. Reports from various Russian media outlets, including the state news agency Tass, indicated that Russia's delegation took a flight path that avoided countries deemed 'unfriendly' by Moscow, resulting in a journey of over 20 hours.

Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova had announced Lavrov's two-day visit to Atlanta prior to his departure. She confirmed that most of the logistical issues related to the Russian delegation's participation were resolved just before the journey. Zakharova mentioned that the delegation had been formed, all formalities were complete, and they were ready to commence their activities at the meeting.
